Play-Testing Feedback • First game of 5.1

So about 90 turns in. Eaxaw, 48 systems, 3 sides, random everything.

The new annexing is getting a heavy workout since there are numerous natives. Xenos have it pretty good I'd say, just wait for the harrassment to depress them and scoop them up. Even grabbed a enemy empire Trish system with annex but that didn't last as they rebelled the very next turn. So I invaded them and will exterminate them cuz they annoyed me. Oh and I take back completely my rant about the annex buttons in another thread. It was born of frustration. Now that I've annexed a whole bunch I love 'em, even the one on the enemy capital. 3K IP? Hee hee. The other is better yet. 7K. I did save up a nice 300+ IP (didn't, as I used to, auto get Syst. & Interst. Infra. - 380+ saved right there, not sure how I got into the habit of buying those ASAP) though so the natives fall easily.

Noted the new Insurgency. Passed as it needs Interstel. and Xeno's are pretty much auto insurgenting.

Noticed a weird new phenom. in the prod. queue. If you remove it stays with a big red X. What's that for? Seems useless.

Cruisers as well as shielded ships seem to be closer to carriers now in value.

Dysan forests look like they've been weakened, no longer do they seem to need a huge high tech fleet and mean the death knell on expansion in the early game. However they do seem to still have that display bug where the fighters are not counted in the firepower.

That's all I can recall at the moment.
