We don't have any split Species (and I don't know if we want to have some) but apart from that that's a nice work...
Ophiuchus is wary though that Asteroid-dwelling Species will make Asteroids just another environment without anything specific, and I agree with him.
We haven't really discussed a way to make Asteroids really different, though (I have made a few proposals, none of them extraordinary alas, but wasn't met with enthusiasm).
